Hip-hop freestyle is an improvisational practice rooted in Hip Hop culture. It centers expression, rhythm, musicality, and responding to the music in real time, often drawing from foundations like popping, locking, breaking, and waving.
An Open Freestyle Session is a space with no choreography and no instruction — created for training, freestyling, exchange, and community, in a way that respects the culture it comes from.
Xeno provides space for freestyle sessions every Wednesday, 7:30–9:30 PM. Pay what you choose (minimum $5; optional donations welcome).
