Hunter Groff, 23, grew up amid the small, tight-knit dance community fostered by his mom’s dance studio in northern Vermont. He took up teaching at the age of 13, developing a love for dance instruction while also training in competitive jazz and hip hop. Upon moving to Boston, he danced with Northeastern University’s Kinematix Dance Troupe for 4 years before joining Project Criss Cross in 2023. He also spent 6 months training in San Francisco under Chris Martin, Alfred Remulla, The Company. Hunter enjoys dance both as a competitive sport and as an expressive art form, but most of all as a vehicle for community and collaboration!
